The Puzzle Playoff reamins virtual!! The Friends of the Northfield Public Library are pleased to bring back our Puzzle Playoff-a competitive puzzle-making competition and we have kept it virtual to allow people to make the puzzle in the comfort of their own favorite puzzle-making spot!!
Identical 500-piece puzzles will be distributed to competitors, who will work simultaneously to complete the puzzle in the shortest amount of time.
When: On Saturday, March 23 from 10:30am-12:30 pm.
Who: Whoever is in your pod/family group up to 6.
Where: In participants' houses and on Zoom. Participants will need some way to transmit an image of their puzzle-making process (computer or phone).
How: A day or so before the competition, participants will receive the competition puzzle wrapped. On the day of competition, teams will sign on to the Zoom session before the start of competition. Teams will then unwrap the puzzle at the same time and begin their puzzle making. The puzzle must be visible on Zoom throughout the puzzle-making process.
The top teams will receive nice prizes from area businesses. Content Bookstore will be providing the puzzles, which can be kept by all the competing teams after the competition.
The cost is $25 per team; additional donations are very much appreciated and will all go to the Friends and Foundation of the Northfield Public Library.
Registration will be open until THURSDAY, 21 March. Gather your puzzlers and get ready to join the fun. Space is limited (20 teams).
